Yea, the left-hand thing is totally inconsistent, the main faux pas is to eat with your left hand. I have no idea why it's fine to use it for other intimate activities, maybe some else out there can fill us in?

I was in India for four months once and experienced the hand holding on several occasions. One thought though as to what you wrote-how do two people hold hands without one using the left hand?

I have a travel essay on India that closely relates to the content of "Coping with, and Trying to Understand, India". My essay describes the difficulties of my very "travel-inexperienced" parents while in India. Is there any place on Bootsn All that I can post this?

Thanks a bunch!

No, my friend. Brotherhood knows no bounds, after all. At least, I think that's what they say in Philly... right before they shoot you.

So what if I want to hold another man's left hand, would that be doubly wrong? :-)
