Audio Dispatch: Reindeer Herding in Mongolia

During 2004 and 2005, NPR aired a great series of audio postcards called “Worlds of Difference” that featured places around the world that are caught in between two worlds: pre and post globalization. I totally dig this story about nomad Reindeer herders in Mongolia. Also be sure to check out the links to other stories in the series. There’s some great on the ground information about some of the more adventurous destinations around the world.
