“Lightning Layne” Oliver describes himself as an ice climber, rock climber, snowboarder, astronomer and rollerblader among other things. He’s also in the National Guard, but perhaps something even cooler about this guy is that he makes a living testing adventure gear. SNEWS Live had this great interview with the man himself at the Outdoor Retailer Winter Market 2007 in Salt Lake City, Utah. You absolutely must listen, if not just to hear the story of how he got his nickname, it’s a truly amazing one.
