I personally know people who have been robbed, and worse in DC. I feel I am fairly street smart but inner city violence in America is nothing to scoff at.

I was in Angola and it's actually one of the safest African countries I visited recently, people are just too busy to bother you at all. And it's as dangereous as Somalia? Ethiopia dangereous? Congo safe????
