A Run with Dean

There’s absolutely no way I’m in any shape to be running a full marathon, but you’ve got to start somewhere, right? So, today I’ll be jumping into the end of a Marathon in Albuquerque with my microphone in hand to talk to quintessential crazy-man and super athlete Dean Karnazes and all the other runners.

Tomorrow is Day 21 of the North Face Endurance 50, Dean’s mission to run 50 marathons in 50 states in 50 days. The quest benefits his Karno Kids charity. Also joining us tomorrow will be some kids and other folks from Girls on the Run, a local charity encouraging fitness among young women.

I’ll be putting together a story on Dean and the Endurance 50 for Voice of America, but I’ll be sure to post part of the interview here as well.
