Spend the winter vacation in Vail
Vail is an American ski resort, located in the Rocky Mountains, close to Denver, Colorado. It is not exactly a cheap ski resort, therefore the cool ski and snowboard accessories are a must. Plus, those fancy polarized photo chromatic ski goggles are actually useful as the lenses change based on the level of lighting so you will always have the best visibility for the conditions.
The ski season in Vail is long but the earlier you go the better. February is an excellent choice. The weather is sunny and you can get some excellent deals. Also, the nightlife is in full swing. If you haven’t made any plans for Valentine’s Day yet, you can look for last minute deals and grab one.
Although the Vail / Eagle Airport is located just 25 minutes by car from Vail, it is better to book one of the flights to Denver . From there, you can rent a car and travel the rest of the distance to Vail.
Vail is an excellent choice for a family vacation, as well. There are ski bikes, kids snowmobile track and a slippery slope of rip-roaring tubing lanes, among other attractions for the younger members of the families. The Ski School is excellent, although not exactly very cheap. If the kids don’t want to ski, you can take the Gondola to the top of the mountain. After a day on the slopes, you should try one of the spa treatments.
